PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is a semi-crystalline fluoropolymer known for exceptional chemical resistance, inherent flame resistance, high purity, and long-term heat stability. Compared with softer fluoroplastics (e.g., PTFE), PVDF retains stronger mechanical properties while remaining easy to machine, weld, and fabricate into sheets, rods, tubes, and complex parts. It performs reliably outdoors and in radiation/UV-exposed environments and is widely used where cleanliness and low extractables matter. Typical continuous-use temperature is 150 °C.
